Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

- Mike draft BIRD to fix Test keyword scoping
  - Done

- Mike invite Tim Coyle to the June 14 meeting
  - Done
  - Tim declined to join

New items:

Mike showed the Test Keyword Clarification draft BIRD:
- Bob: We have to leave the Test keywords under [Model].
  - They work now.
- Lance: Now there can be only one [Test Load] per [Test Data]
- Mike: Agree, the draft BIRD says that
- Bob: We have to solve the question of whether it is allowed in Model
- Mike: The question is if Model sub-keywords can appear both before and
  after Test keywords
- Bob: We have to consider developers of existing tools
- Lance: We should not consider tools
  - We should just get the spec right
- Bob: We have to consider legacy
  - We should ask Tim
- Mike: A good compromise can be worked out
  - Test keywords will have to appear after other Model keywords
  - The Test keyword names will have to be unique
- Bob: The Test keywords might need their own section
  - The editing committee might be involved
  - It might be 5a
- Mike: Maybe it should come after Model
- Bob: We need to insure that models compliant to previous specs remain
  compliant
  - We can ask Tim about name clashes
- Mike: The spec says nothing about name spaces
  - Any code written had to make assumptions

Mike: Is this editorial cleanup or a spec change?
- Bob: This is a spec change
- Mike: The spec has a hole in it
  - Tim Coyle made an assumption
  - The parser made a different assumption
- Bob: It may be acceptable to Tim that Test has to come after Model
  - We may be talking about spec relaxations
- Mike: The expectation about Test in the middle of Model is reasonable
  - IBIS allows any order unless order is specified

Mike: What would be the new section number?
- Bob: Section 6d, after all other Model sections
- Bob: [Test Data] could refer to another Driver_model
- Lance: It doesn't say which way that should work
  - The specification should be more clear
- Mike: The [Test Load] description does not discuss names
- Bob: That is a defect
  - We need a rule that the names must be distinct

Mike showed an email from Tim Coyle:
- Mike: He is flexible about the tree arrangement
- Bob: For diff testing there are some question about order
  - The BIRD document should be sent to Tim
  - We should not change Test Data and Test Load descriptions yet
  - Just change the positioning

AR: Mike update Test Keyword Clarification BIRD

AR: Mike contact Tim Coyle about limited positioning within Model

Next meetings:
- Next meetings June 21 and June 28

June 21 agenda:
- Test Keyword Clarification BIRD draft

Meeting ended at 12:23 Eastern Time.
